TJ Grant, Associate National Director at World Vision New Zealand, shared inspiring stories from his own personal journey and World Vision’s work. TJ has dedicated his life to shining God’s light in some of the world’s darkest places, and he will share powerful moments that reveal God’s invitation to be part of a greater story—a story of hope, resilience, and transformation for vulnerable children, communities and his own life along the way.

World Vision

World Vision New Zealand is a registered charity powered by thousands of generous Kiwis like you. We’re a community of change-makers helping the most vulnerable children, in the most difficult places, to overcome poverty and injustice and build brighter futures for themselves. As a Christian charity, we show unconditional love to our global neighbours in need – of any faith or none.

We believe every child is precious. Every life matters.

Prayer points:

  • Rohingya Refugee Children – Pray for safety, education, and a hopeful future for children trapped in refugee camps without citizenship or formal rights. Pray that the light of hope continues to shine in their lives.
  • Resolution for the Rohingya Crisis – Pray for international action to secure citizenship rights, official refugee status, and a lasting solution for families in crisis.
  • Children Facing Exploitation – Pray for young children, forced into child labour and modern-day slavery to support their families. Pray for God’s guidance and support them to realise their dreams of a better future.
  • Modern Slavery Legislation in New Zealand – Pray for stronger laws to protect vulnerable children from exploitation, ensuring New Zealand companies do not support forced and child labour through their international supply chains.
  • Sponsors and Supported Communities – Pray for World Vision’s generous sponsors and the communities they support, that they may be transformed and filled with hope and God’s love.

Through these prayer points, we join together in lifting up World Vision’s mission to reflect God’s love and light into the lives of those who need it most.
