Catalyst Movement exists to empower this next generation to reach the lost. Since 2019 we have travelled the nation working with local communities to train, outreach and serve alongside what God is already doing. Some of our initiatives include:
- Jesus Clubs NZ – A student led high school outreach movement.
- The Training Room – A free evangelism training course for young people.
- Worship & Prayer Aotearoa – A house based worship and intercession movement.
- Various tours – The purpose of these tours varies, but they always involve a team of young adults working with local church to do evangelism training and outreaches.
Currently, a team of young adults led by one of our staff, Jess Knowles, are doing a South Island Towns Tour. The heart of this tour is to go to the small towns that are often underserved in the South Island. In each location the team is working alongside the local church to equip, empower and encourage them in evangelism. Our prayer is that many will be saved, more Jesus Clubs would start in high schools and that hundreds of young people would be encouraged and equipped to share the gospel!
Please pray for:
- People to encounter God through the trainings and the outreaches.
- God’s protection and provision for the team as they travel and minister.
- God’s leading as the final events lock in.
- Churches to be blessed by the team’s ministry.
- Boldness and courage for people as they preach the gospel.
- Many to be saved!!!
