How can you pray for Wellington?
Dr Stuart Piggin. “There are 3 essential ingredients for a move of God’s Spirit in revival: extra-ordinary prayer, unexpected unity and heightened expectation.”
1. For growing relationships, unity and trust amongst Pastors and Churches
2. For WCN Facilitators Team – deepening relationships, trust, commitment and vision
3. For CWC – identify and engage more strategic thinkers for Exec Board – smooth transition
4. For wisdom as we shape the workshop on ‘Serving the City’ in Sept and that God will raise up the right people to gather and commit to working together to bring God’s heavenly solutions
5. For admin and technical expertise to develop Communications – website, email, social media etc.
6. For funding to enable us to pay gifted individuals to spearhead key initiatives to support the vision and 5 priority areas – Connect, Pray and Worship, Serve, Declare, Multiply
Prayer Breakfast:
1. For increased faith and expectation of all those who come along to pray and participate
2. That God will hear our prayers and heal the brokenness of our city
3. For more sponsors to financially support the event to reduce ticket prices, and for great engagement from attenders with the sponsors
4. For the prayer leaders preparing the videos and content for the 3 prayer themes
5. For divine connections and networking that is a catalyst for even greater unity & fruitfulness
6. That City Councillors and Members of Parliament will be encouraged and blessed, and come to faith!
7. For Simon Gill (Lead Pastor @ The Street Church) as he briefly shares the vision and potential impact of the united Church of Wellington!
