Rhema Media
Hi there, Di here from Rhema, a faith based media organisation. I am the content director for two of our radio stations Rhema and Sanctuary. Our mission at Rhema Media is to ‘connect Kiwis to Christ’. Radio Rhema has been on the airwaves since 1979 and provides a platform for Christian music, teaching and talk. Sanctuary is our newest radio station and is for people who love worship music. For me personally I have been at Rhema for 22 years now, starting as an announcer on Life FM and then moving to Rhema. At Rhema I have worked as an announcer, producer and today I help oversee the station as its Content Director. More recently I have joined the Sanctuary team in this role as well. I love radio, its immediacy, its ability to reach thousands of people, but speak to the one. In particular I love Christian media. It’s amazing to me how God can use a song, a comment or teaching to reach people in the time they need it most.
Prayer Points:
1. Pray for more people to be reached through Rhema’s radio, TV and digital offerings.
2. Pray for greater collaboration between Rhema and other Christian organisations.
3. Pray for unity among the teams.
4. Pray for the future of Media – new digital platforms, AI.
5. Pray the content of the radio stations impacts people in a way that brings them closer to Jesus.
6. Pray for staff and their families.
