Know Jesus Know His Story – The Very First Easter Story
Bible Society New Zealand has been around since 1846. However, we became the Bible Society Group when Manna Christian Stores joined the mission in 2017. This divine appointment saw two mission-hearted organisations, both rich in history come together, interweaving their mission, passion, and purpose to become one. Together, we are driven by one conviction: we believe that when people get to know Jesus Christ through God’s Word, lives change for good, and that is why, our mission is to help make the Bible accessible to everyone and to encourage interaction with it.
Prayer points
– Pray for those who received The Very First Easter Story booklet, that their hearts would be open and receptive to the message
– Pray that all children and whānau who have heard the Easter story for the very first time, that they would be eager to learn more about Jesus
– Pray that the words of the booklet, which are like seeds sown among the field, would be watered by others, and that they would help these seeds to grow
– Pray for opportunities for meaningful conversations as a result of these resources, especially amongst those attending, Mainly Music groups, teachers at schools, friends of friends, those sharing with those who do not know Jesus, and other Easter community events
– Prayers of thanksgiving, gratefulness and appreciation to all of our faithful supporters who have helped make this resource available
– God’s name would be glorified and lifted up as a result of these resources
