About PACT
Established in 1995, Papatoetoe Adolescent Christian Trust (PACT) is a faith-based organisation committed to mentoring and investing in rangatahi and strengthening whānau in South Auckland. We believe in holistic, mana-enhancing support that nurtures well-being, resilience, and personal growth, empowering young people to thrive in all areas of life.
PACT works across local schools and within the community, providing tailored mentoring, school-based support, boxing, Legacy (primary girls faith based after school programme), drop-in sessions, holiday programmes, and Te Kupenga (Alternative Education). Each year, PACT supports over 800 rangatahi, journeying alongside them as they develop confidence, identity, and a strong foundation for their future.
Sarah Durham Bio | Director, PACT
Sarah Durham has led Papatoetoe Adolescent Christian Trust (PACT) since June 2021, bringing a deep commitment to mentoring, youth development, and community transformation. After more than 20 years in corporate marketing, Sarah and her family felt called into the mission field. She served with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in the United States before spending 3.5 years at LIV—a children’s village in South Africa for orphaned and abandoned children.
Under her leadership, PACT has expanded its reach, deepened its mentoring impact, and strengthened partnerships across the youth sector. Passionate about journeying alongside rangatahi and creating spaces where they feel valued and supported, Sarah is dedicated to ensuring PACT continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people and their whānau, with Christ at the centre.
