Sanjai Kandregula leads us in prayer for Tāmaki Makaurau | Auckland.

Tāmaki Makaurau | Auckland, the largest cosmopolitan city in the nation, is home to 1.6 million people, which represents 33.4% of the national population. Of that, 50.7% are born overseas. While the city faces major challenges such as housing, traffic, and homelessness, it is also a hub for diverse immigration from around the world, bringing various belief systems and religious practices. This diversity creates a unique opportunity for the Church to share the gospel locally, with the nations coming to our doorstep rather than needing to go abroad. There is a clear move of God in Auckland, with numerous prayer initiatives and collaborations taking place.

Shout conference concluded this week which saw 4000 people attend, recently Northshore churches united for an evening of prayer, and Pacific2nations hosted a gathering last month. The upcoming Auckland Prayer Breakfast is on Thursday, October 24th followed by the Auckland Prayer Walk where we’ll be mapping the city in prayer.

Let us come together in prayer and believe for a powerful move of God in Tāmaki Makaurau | Auckland, which will impact every church across the city.

Prayer points:

  • Let us surrender our hearts and lives to God afresh.
  • May every Christian’s heart be set on God, with a willingness to obey His instructions.
  • May every Christian Family be a beckon of hope in our community.
  • Revival in every church across the city.
  • That the gospel will spread from this city to the nations through the migrants from all over the world.
  • For the upcoming Auckland Prayer Breakfast and Auckland Prayer Walk.
