Loving for Life
Loving for Life (LFL) exists to help young people know that they are made from love and for love. We deliver programs in schools and youth groups which aim to enhance all aspects of their hauroa (physical, spiritual, social, mental/emotional) as we cover various topics related to sexuality and relationships. We do this from a Christian lens, hoping to help young people value themselves and others as they come to understand the true meaning of love and the beauty of God’s design.

About Becky Gillespie
I have been really blessed to work as the Auckland Coordinator for LFL since Feb 2025, having a strong desire for everyone to realise God’s ways bring freedom rather than slavery! Previous to this I have been involved in various mission and youth work (through YWAM and Thinking Matters) and am currently finishing my Bachelor of Theology at Laidlaw College. When I have completed this (in June) I will be stepping into the national director role for LFL. I am excited for this new opportunity and hope to be faithful to where ever God directs us.

Prayer points
Direction: God’s direction for the future of the ministry and that I would be sensitive to his leading as I step into the director role.
Staffing: Wisdom in further staffing decisions – that we would have a unified team of surrendered individuals who are all in the right role.
Programs: Resources and ideas for ongoing program development to ensure we are meeting the needs of young people today in an effective way.
Funding: God’s provision for all he wants us to do and wisdom to be good stewards of what he gives us.
Prayer support: That prayer would be at the centre of our ministry and God would raise prayer warriors to cover us in the work we do.
