Whanganui/Manawatu Regions
These regions face growing social needs with many families struggling with food insecurity, financial pressure and limited access to affordable warm housing. Rural communities often experience isolation and fewer services, while youth need support, guidance and hope. Economic challenges include a shortage of skilled workers and the need for greater training and employment opportunities, especially for young people and those on low incomes. Spiritually, there is a hunger for unity, and renewal particularly amoung the younger generation. Churches play a vital role in offering practical care, building community, and pointing people to lasting hope in Christ.
